I like your boards...Kinda makes me feel like i HAVE to make out a char that is limited and I have to tell you EVERYTHING (i.e history, about your char), even those these are good things and are required/recommended in many RPG boards, I dun care for that style. Even though I have occasionally. I'm a lazy writer....erm...Typer... I like pvp (player versus player) interaction more than following a specific storyline. Which kind of defeats the ROLE part of role play. Either way, I like to free-form RP and just do whatever. I'm not implying (or trying to) that story driven RPGs are not good, they are awesome, but you need a GM (Game master) to sort out what happens along the trail and the enemies you face. Maybe this is too RPish but if you're gonna have a story driven RPG, I prefer GMs. Obviously, you aren't going to play the GM nor any other person that visits your society cuz you/they don't like it and the owner of the society usually is the person for the job. |
