replied on: 5/25/2006 1:31:14 AM Ive been checking to see how popular other fantasy/book forum's are at Chatarea and was saddened to see most have had no postings for months. My group is quite small, but there are new posts every day. Surely my group members arent the only people that visit chatarea that like reading books! |

replied on: 9/16/2005 1:37:47 AM I've changed the colour scheme slightly and used some backgrounds Most of the forums are the same colour now. The main forum and two others are slightly different. The members like to have that so they instantly know where they are . I've tried to organise the society forum's into specific subjects.Any feedback would be welcome - Myth and Magic |

replied on: 9/12/2005 12:43:32 AM Thanks for that link it looks useful. I'll study the colours a bit more and see about choosing some slightly darker. I dont like dark backgrounds, just find them so hard to read.  I dont have the same colours all through the forum though. I use darker colours for some of the subforums

replied on: 9/10/2005 12:09:20 PM Ok just remember its only an option you can go Light colors you just have to use the right colors! I use this color chart for all of my custom colors! RGB Hex Triplet Color Chart it is very helpful just add in the number to the color you would like and your set! Thanks! |

Unfortuantely I can't see those colour schemes very well, I seem to have a problem with black backgrounds I'll consult my members and see if they find the background colours too bright

replied on: 9/9/2005 9:29:53 PM It looks alright the colors are a little tough on the eyes check out mine petersforum the colors dont hurt the eyes as much if you keep it all about the same shades it doesnt hurt as bad! |

replied on: 6/18/2005 10:45:43 AM Recently found this place, and think it's great for setting up discussion groups. I'm setting up a fantasy genre book, movie and art discussion group. Got the basic message boards sorted and looking for feedback from members that join I'll probably be including horror and sci-fi in the future, if any members ask for them The forum format is new for me. So I'd love some feedback Myth and Magic And of course anyone that's interested please join
