Well I chose a black background because it matches our webpages. You are welcome to come ask questions. Or post the Lore part of our forum and they can go into more detail.
We use 3rd edition Dungeons & Dragons and for dragon related things we usually use Dragonlance.
We have 4 subrooms and spread out the roleplay over all of them or try to. On our message forum we try to use the roleplay part for updates or summaries of what happened in the room.
And our home site for chat room has our dice roller. There is usually a Dungen Master available in the room if a player has questions.
We use our Role-Play forums to give summaries of what has happened in the chat room for role-play, so others who were not there when an event happened can still easily update themselved on current events in the room. Sometimes of course the role-play is advanced on the forum though.
We have two guilds, one for Rangers and the other for Bards. They have Guild Halls in all of the subrooms and the main one. They have both open forum and locked. If there is enough interest raised in concerning another guild, one can certainly be opened, such as Assassin.
And I guess I wasn't going for a natural look, as we are a historical fantasty forum. And having no background and only a set color hopefully will help speed loading, which I am all for. It is an interesting thought though if I consider changing it, thank you for the suggestion.
I hope that answered some of your questions. If you have futher ones, my Q is 5619359 and I am room controller of the home.
Thank you for your questions and interest in our home.
