adding a moderator
replied on: 1/11/2006 6:18:47 PM You can password your board only allowing the people you want into the board itself. For Mods Make sure your logged in. Click on "Control Panel". Look for "MY Societies" link on the top of the next page and click on it. Click on the society (if you have more then one) that you want. On the left side of your screen you'll see a link "Members" click on it. Search for the member you want to make a mod (the user will need to post a message before they can be a moderator). Click on the member you want to give mod rights to. (they must have at least one post in your society before you can give them rights). Click on "User Rights" located on the top right side of that area. Check off all the boards you want the member to have rights for and then click on "Save Changes". |
