How do I password lock a Forum
replied on: 8/5/2006 3:38:55 PM Mo, if you go into control panel, my societies, click the forum you want to lock, not the main society link, but the actual forum underneath itself, then click security, that should enable you to set a password for only that one forum. Once you are in the security part for that particular forum, you should see two options: 1) Membership by posting (which i think is the default for forums here?) 2) Membership by password - under here you will find the spot to set the password you wish to use.
