replied on: 6/27/2007 8:09:37 AM Gary, I have to work every Saturday form 6-Noon, but that week they are flipping me to the 6-Midnight shift. The host of our "Back to the 80's" show will be on vacation so I am covering for him. Otherwise I would miss the parade altogether! |

Thinking of Wraps(sandwiches), Potato salad, Cole Slaw, Chips, Soda, Beer, Wine, and some kind of Desert--cake or what ever. any ideas or does that sound good????????Don't want to be over a hot grill cooking....looking at 10 a head for the food, that is an estimate....... |

replied on: 6/28/2007 3:27:48 PM Okay here is the dope on the parade...1) Assembly area is Railroad Ave (facing Delaware Ave) Entire parade group must arrive together..no later than 11:15 at the assembly point... 2) Access route to Railroad Ave is Cedar Lane.. 3) Need to meet up at my house by 10:30 to ensure everyone is set to go.. There is a concert at 7pm and fire works for anyone wishing to stay late... we will get some refreshment tickets for a hot dog and a soda at the VFW post near the parades end for those that don't want to return to my house afterwards.. If there is a problem with traffic ar your are running late call me on my cell 732-794-2039... |

If we stay for the fireworks, what do we need to bring along? Lawn chairs? Lots of bug spray? Can we help out with the food? Dessert? Beverages? Let us know. Doris and Dennis |

I will pick up some wraps (sandwiches), chips ,Salads, beer. soda, wine, and water...Peggy and Ken are bringing some desert along with Doris, and Casper is bringing an ITALIAN treat...I will try to keep the cost at about 10 per person. I am assuming 2 per car and we have 14 cars coming.. If u are not going to return to my house for food etc please let me know....The concert (7PM) and fire works (9PM)are going to be at the Municiple Complex at 6th and Broad Streets... this is about 2 miles from the parade end....e-mail me at nip63@verizon.net ciao |
