replied on: 8/19/2007 5:07:09 AM OK, this show should have been yesterday. We can plan on everything but the weather. Right now, the weather down in Smithville is calling for a partially cloudy day with a 30% chance of late afternoon showers. I guess that means that we have a 70% chance of staying dry?? Since we are minutes away from Atlantic City, I think those are good odds? I am thinking if it is cloudy, it won't be bloody hot? Soooo, the show is a go! See you down in Smithville! Bring your smiles to ward off the clouds. Oh yeah, and your credit cards for shopping! |

replied on: 8/19/2007 3:32:13 PM Jeff it didn't rain til 2:00 and I raffled off your chair. I checked the weater channel at 5:00 and they were calling for cloudy with a 30% chance of afternoon rain. I once gain have got to say THANKS!!! to everyone who made it to the show! Especially our friends from Delaware, New York, Pennsylvania and North Jersey who drove 3 hours to get there, with no promise of a dry day. Heck, we even got three "Classic" Mopars out there on a cloudy day. Can't thank everyone enough for coming out. I think everyone had a good time and I believe I saw practically every woman bringing back bags from the stores  I am uploading pictures now.

replied on: 8/20/2007 5:12:18 AM It's a car, it is OK if it gets wet Some of us old timers remember Shore Thing 2 & 3 when we were in Seven President's Park and it rained so hard the tents were blowing away.    Recognize anybody in this picture? And there were 100 PTs on the field!
