OK, so yesterday is the BIG Labor Day Dock Party at the marina. Food, Music, Boats, what culd be better? My sister calls me at 3:30 to tell me she is not going to be at the marina and I should not go over?? Well, I am bumbed a little and Barbara says "Let's go to Albert Hall for Bluegrass music? She heard about it on the radio and it is just down the road (14.1 miles) so we head out to dinner and then the show. Albert Hall is a hall (duh!) built alongside a new school in Waretown that is run by the "Pinelands Historical Conservation Society". They have these bands come down every Saturday and play for free (well, the bands don't get paid but they do charge you $5.00 to get in). The hall is air conditioned and holds about 225 people. By show time, most of the seats were filled. They have a 6 different acts each with a half hour set, starting at 7:30. Some are country, some gospel, some folk and some pure bluegrass. We had a great time! Cheaper that going to the movies!
