The service (Sony) that I have been using to post and share the pictures I take at our Cruiser events is going "bye-byes". They are in the process of moving all my photo albums to a different company (Shutterfly) so my pictures may be temporarily unavailable until the transfer is complete and I can create new links. Sorry for any inconvenience.

That happened to me about 6 years ago but the company gave you a certain amount of time to buy a cd of your pics from them. If you didn't you lost your pics. I'm a paid member of Webshots for 5 years now and haven't had a problem.

I think the same thing happened to Casper? Webshots seems pretty good and my son is a big fan of Flickr as a photo host.

I've been carrying three different photo services on my computer. Each one had different things I liked--one had really good designs for cards, one was better for uploads and sharing--blah, blah, blah. Shutterfly was one of the three, so Sony and Shutterfly are doing all the work of transferring my pictures. All I have to do is rewrite the links for the Cruiser Forum and a couple of other web pages where I posted pictures.

If Shutterfly doesn't work out, I'll take a gander at Webshots.

I've finished rewriting the links for the photo albums for 2007. Unless there is a great out cry, I'll leave the pictures for 2005-2006 alone for now. The new photo service lets you view the pictures individually or as a slideshow. Thanks for your patience.

Hope to see you at Shore Thing this weekend.
