At first I thought the adhesive had been compromised until closer inspection revealed a slight kink as if someone had tried to pry it off and bent it slightly. What I'd like to know is this: my desire obviously is to replace it so to remove the damaged cover completely, I would guess a wide blade screwdriver and some firm tapping with, let's say, a rubber mallet or such might do the trick. Now the trouble is, I care enough about my Cruiser to go to the length of buying a whole new set of door pillar covers to get the replacement one I need, or hope someone out there in PT-Cruiser land might have one lying around or knows where I might be able to obtain just the right-front passenger door cover ( the mirror finish ) for a reasonable price. Any help or advice is certainly welcome. Pete |

replied on: 1/27/2008 6:45:43 AM Pete, you might contact the vendor you purchased the set from or the manufacturer directly to see if they will sell you just the one piece? |

replied on: 1/27/2008 11:08:35 AM I had thought about that, but had my doubts they'd be willing to break up a set. I think I got them from AutoTruckToys.com so it might be worth a shot. Thanks. |
