NEW PARADE, Sunday - May 25th
replied on: 5/2/2008 1:16:07 AM Does everyone dress up their cars very patriotic or is it just a flag here and there? Never put my car in a parade yet, so just wondering how crazy everyone gets with the PT's. I'd like to go but not sure if I can make it yet since my son is in a theatre production that day(one of 17 shows, so maybe I can miss one)

replied on: 5/2/2008 8:41:17 AM Sherry, The very first parade we ever went to, we didn't decorate at all. We just watched and absorbed what everyone else was doing. No one seemed to mind that there was one Cruiser in the pack that wasn't tricked out. Afterwards we went to the local "party supply" store and bought flags and decals and such. Now we have plastic storage bins in the basement, each marked for a different holiday (Christmas, 4th of July, St. Patrick's Day). Parading is a lot of fun and grows on you really fast. I am hoping I can go...I assume you need to get there early enough to decorate, since it doesn't look as if you can drive down the parkway at 70 mph with all that stuff on your car! lol solar yellow PT..live to be different.. |

replied on: 5/2/2008 5:52:55 PM We usually have a gathering spot near the parade we get to about an hour early to decorate the cars. Then we all stop after the parade and un-decorate all the cars. |
