Ok, see you guys there. I'll bring my EZ-up also. Forecast is low 90's & humid, chance of rain in the afternoon. In other words, typical Blueberry Festival weather!

Ain't that the truth! I'll bring mine and we will set up our tent city again. Maybe the new school has a shady spot we can commandeer?

Hey, maybe it will be so hot we will see Gary and Nipper in shorts? I think Shorts, Sandals and Sunscreen will be the uniform of the day?

Hi everyone,
I am just 20 minutes from festival. Where do you live Nipper? Maybe I can meet you all too so I can arrive with "my club." lol.. You must not live too far since you mentioned the Stockton College rest stop.

Sherry - I'm in Gloucester County (near exit 45 off of route 55), not too far from Hammonton. Let me know if you want to meet somewhere on the way to the show.

Sherry, I am in Florence near exit 7 on the turnpike. U would be traveling backwards to go to Hammonton, But anyone from North Jersey would get off the TP at exit 7 onto 206 South. Meeting up with Mark is the best bet.

Hi Mark,
Actually, you are past Hammonton from where I live. I am in Galloway township and I'm about 5 minutes from Stockton. So my best bet it looks like is to meet everyone in Hammonton. Incidentally, my son just finished up a show at the Ritz Theatre in Oaklyn, so I have been over your way about 3-4 times a week for about 3 months! Well, looks like the next few days will be spent getting the car all shined up inside and out. So everyone is arriving around 10am??

I'm sure you can get in...you just have to register when you get there. Also, what happens if it's wet on the roads from rain? Do we bring lots of towels and reclean our cars when we get there? I have only gone to shows with dry roads on the way...Seems like a pain when you have to drive all the way there. What happens when you have to drive a few hours? I was thinking about the Shore Thing this year. Is there a place you can wash the bugs off and road grime? I know these are probably dumb questions, but I just had to ask them. Anyone? lol

Sherry,

A lot of us carry cleaning products with us at all times. Meguiars makes a host of products that you can get to "Tidy" up your 66 Cruiser after a shower or just getting the road dust/bugs off after you arrive at an event!

I wax and detail my car before each event, so when I get to the event I just use Meguiar's Quick Detailer, just spray it on and wipe it off and the car is all clean and shiny again!

I also found this product very helpful.
The Original Californial Dry Blade, when In case of a shower you break this thing out and when you're done you just use a towel to get the little areas you couldn't get with the blade.

Sherry, there are no stupid questions, only stupid answers.

John is right, we all probably have a water blade and a bottle of quick detailer in the back of the PT along with some microfiber towels. You can always just borrow the stuff from somebody if you need it.

There is both a full service and a do-it-yourself car wash on the road to Shore Thing, half way between the host motel and the show grounds.

Sherry,

Throw some old towels in the "boot" of the PT along with the products that John has mentioned above. After you have been to a particular show at a specific location, you'll know where every car wash within a 20 mile radius is located. I know two in Gettysburg, one in Clarion, one in Dover, one near Sea Bright, etc.
