Cruiser Quarterly Lives!

Many of us remember reading the Cruiser Quarterly Magazines. The printed magazines are no longer published but Barbara Beach, the editor is trying to publish an E-Zine version. I am pasting an email from her asking for our support so she can continue to do this.

"
Dear Friends,
I remember being a little child and making a nice big batch of dandelion wine... The neighborhood kids all contributed something and we "brewed" a big batch of scary looking liquid in someone's donated horse trough. I was so proud of myself and remember dragging my dad over and offering a sample.... Knowing there was nothing toxic in it but distasteful none the less my dad took a sip and promptly patted me on the head and hugged me and said good job!

Maybe that is why I have always been so eager and proud to share what ever it is I have "cooked up" over the years.

I would like to share with all of you something we all fought hard for....the very first
PT IMPRESSIONS presented by CHRYSLER QUARTERLY

300 IMPRESSIONS will be up in about 2 weeks.

We have retired the fancy web site (another can come later) and concentrated on our
efforts on the first e magazine... it is after all....a way to keep the dream alive and to keep telling all of your stories.

OK...here is my heartfelt request.... to offer this ezine online for free I have to have sponsors and of course having Chrysler continue to endorse us is paramount to our continued success. When you go to the site
www.ChryslerQuarterly.com you will see a thumbnail of the magazine....
click on the magazine it will load and soon become screen size. When you go to any of the ads there is a highlighted area where their URL's are (their web sites)...
Chrysler is counting every person who clicks on their ads (there is a 2 page ad in the beginning and the last page another ad)....if you would be so kind as to CLICK on their web site listed on their ad... (just go to the highlighted area)... Every click is a vote that you want future issues of this magazine... Right now we are told there is no more budget for us in 2008 but I have to believe that 100,000 clicks just might change their mind.

So if each of you would visit the Chrysler ads and make sure to CLICK on their web site....you would be doing a lot to insure the future issues of PT IMPRESSIONS....and if you would ask TEN people to check out the magazine and also click on Chrysler URL's in their ads (and if each of these ten would ask ten)...we will be around a long long time (I hope!) And don't forget our loyal sponsors who support the magazine with their ad dollars... Without them there would be no magazine so please when you shop...
think of them!

I am here to hear and tell your stories so don't hesitate to send them my way...

If you want to write a note directly to Chrysler telling them you like the magazine and asking them to continue to support it then you can send it to hs232@chrysler.com and cc me at miatabb@aol.com

I have gone as far as I can and fought hard to keep the PT Story alive and now it is up to you. There is some cost to do the magazines as you know but we want to make it free forever to the enthusiasts...as far as your support..it costs nothing...just a few seconds to CLICK on the URL on the Chrysler ads.... and a few seconds to ask 10 more people to do the same. If this happens this will be the first of many...
