Chrome Center Caps
posted on: 6/2/2008 5:44:26 PM

Hey is there anyone that might know where I can find 2" dia. Chrome Center caps for the OEM black 15 wheels on the PT.

I ordered Chrome trim rings, purchased new chrome lugs and was hoping to lind of create the Rally Sports look for my PT!

I can't seem to find the center caps...I guess I should have looked into this a little better before ordering the trim rings!

Any info would be wonderful!

Thanks
Mr Lou R

Check with a dealer. They should have replacement caps.

Gary, I think he is looking for moonies to cover the lugs on the stock steel rims to give the look of a smoothie wheel.

Moonies at airports! lol Bill!

What I was hoping to do was cover the 2" diameter opening in the center of the wheel with a center cap or dust cover, so it would look like a Chevy Rally Sport Wheel when I put on the chrome trip rings...but it seems like I will not be able to do that so small moonies, (laughing at the name again, thanks Bill), or smoothies...I know that's a drink, might be the way to go. A little Chrome with a little bit of black.

Time to start sharing the net again! thanks Guys!

Well the baby moons are out...my wheel doesn't have nubs on it for the baby moon to snap onto!

Maybe you can paint the center of the hubs black and get some stainless steel lug nuts and with the stainless trim rings it will look good?

John, I purchased the new Chrome lugs and the chrome trim rings arrived yesterday!

I just need to find a way to cover that center opening on my wheels!

Worst case is I'll have to find a machine shop and get something produced!

Hey Mr. Lou R,

Does your place do anything in the way of producing four custom center caps or are they only able to handle large machining requests?
