NJ PT Cruiser Salvage Yards
replied on: 6/17/2008 2:02:49 PM Ahh the good ol' days of walking through the yard and getting what you needed...insurance reasons have taken that fun out of going to slavage yards. As a new 17 year with a 63' Impala I was always there looking for parts. Sometimes you spot an older car and start looking it over to see if you could perhaps talk the owner of the yard to let you have it a project car. My friend Todd worked out one such deal. Anyway, I was looking around with a friend recently for his Jeep and i didn't see any PT's anywhere! I asked the guy if they had any laying around and said no...that even through the car has been around a while not too many are wrecked beyond repair. |
