Very cool to see these old vintage cars zipping around the course. Interesting layout, there are no bleachers or stands - the parking & spectator area is in the center, with the race track winding all around. You can stand anywhere along the fence, or bring chairs and sit. Maybe next year we can arrange a cruise to a race? Here are some pics - my favorite was the Morris and Austin Coopers - surprising how fast those little suckers can move: Millville Track Pictures Mark |

replied on: 8/13/2008 7:36:27 PM OMG, vintage Saabs, Volvo 122s, Midgets, Spitballs and was that an old 2002 or a Alfa? What a great group, wish I was a little closer I would have run down for the day. Is there a tunnel or bridge to get into the infield or do you just cross the track? We definitely have to make an event out of a race next year! ps, I fixed the picture link |

replied on: 8/13/2008 10:00:19 PM Thanks for fixing the link. There's an overpass to go over the track. They still have some construction going on, and there's not much signage so it was a little confusing figuring out where to park - turns out you can park just about anywhere. I expect they'll do the SVRA again next year. There's an ARCA race in September. Mark |

replied on: 8/14/2008 6:07:22 AM Sounds good! I know they are having a piddly little airshow this year too. 20 planes. Hardly worth a two hour drive to watch. I miss Wheels & Wings! We will have to watch their schedule and make the SRVA show next year! |
