I am trying to do some research on the Island of Cos, for a room that we are building. I have two questions that I need help researching.

I want to figure out what animals, plants, and foods would be common to the city. There is a trade market with Vonda, and we are also playing out a trade market with Schendi (though mostly for cacao beans). Thus far, all I have found is that Cosians are fond of hot paga.

The second, is about methods of travel available here. Would there be bosk or kailla on Cos? I think bosk are possible, but kailla might be an exotic animal (and would need to be imported).

Most importantly...can you fly a tarn on Cos? I've been looking and looking for anything that might give an indication if they were used on islands or not - because of the nature of the tarn and their dislike of large bodies of water, I thought no. But, they use them in Port Kar, which is a city of canals, and on the water.

I realize that you can't fly a tarn from the land onto the water. The concept of putting them below deck until land was out of sight was used in Raiders, and this was a new tactic that had not been used before. But the fact from this remains - if there were tarns for the Karians to put on their boats to USE in this endeavor, then the city must have them, even though they are on the water. Which means the tarns would fly there, they must have.

So would Cos have tarns that could fly between it's cities?
