SOAR family

What a fascinating website ... I've just stumbled across it.

I'm currently looking into the SOAR family of Heanor, Derbyshire. I've only gone as far back as Samuel b.1845 and Martha b.1846(nee Wheatley) SOAR, but would love to hear from anyone who is interested in this family.

Thanks

Thanks for that Peter ... they appear to be a differnet branch of the family and at this moment I cannot find the link.

When I began this I'd thought SOAR would was quite an unusual name, but just my luck it seems there are loads of them!

Thanks

Hi there, I am pretty certain that I saw SOARs in Spondon registers, when I was researching these last week.

Yes, I have just found them again on a Spondon website - try this http://home.att.net/~derekporter/spondonlad/farmers.html

Hi, Bubb.
Here's a Denby marriage which might help you in your search.
