The B1 was Nottingham to Ripley The A1 was also Nottingham to Ripley, but it took a different route and didn't have many stops. Which buses went via Cromford Road and Dunstead Road? Was it the C9? |

replied on: 12/10/2002 10:59:14 AM Yes it was the C9 that operated via Cromford Road. The full route was..... Alfreton, Leabrooks, Riddings, Codnor, Heanor, Aldecar, Eastwood, Moorgreen,, Watnall, Westville, Hucknall. I know because I was the driver I can still remember ALL of the routes so if any in particular interest you just shout up. |

replied on: 12/11/2002 12:42:20 AM Oops - thanks for pointing that out. My family had a few connections with the MGO too, since my mum was a clippie in the early 1950's, and one of my brothers went on to be a bus driver for them in the early 1970's |
