It was joined on to the shop next door and stood facing Heanor Old Hall directly across from it. As a youngster, i can remember my Grandmother taking me there a couple of times in the late 1940s, when she visited the old woman who lived there. I seem to remember/recall the name 'Calladine', but i'm not certain on this point. Has anyone any history on the cottage or its occupant(s) of around that time, or before? Azzabuv. |
