replied on: 12/8/2004 7:05:44 PM I lived on Elmsfield Avenue from 1966 - 1975, and I can't remember a shop on the corner! We used to go round the corner to a shop facing Mansfield Road. |

replied on: 10/15/2006 9:44:52 AM well thank goodness for that....i thought i'd imagined it all...we always used that shop at the weekends...it was a great little shop that sold everything.and hubbards was a great little chip shop...oh those days are long gone unfortunately.and talking of plough garage,how long has that been going.???? |
