All I can find in the area is 1901 Thomas George Soldier market Place Riddings , another in Birchwood lane and one in High St Riddings.

I have found Thomas george 1881 aCoal Miner at Sportsmans Jessop St
and in 1901 he is keeping the Horse and groom Radford Rd Nottingham

Cher

You are most welcome!

I hope you find something to stimulate further discussion. But if you don't, please don't hesitate to start new threads on anything that relates to your knowledge of the area.

Your g-g-father being a builder and grocer (strange combination!) - there must be something for a new thread there. Or perhaps a Fowkes thread in the family history section? Who knows where it may end!!!!!!

Regards
