Roe family of Heanor/Smalley
posted on: 2/3/2005 7:04:18 PM

Has anyone come across a Charles Roe who was born in Smalley c1828?

Charles married Sarah Todd in Derby c1848 and lived in derby until at least 1868.

In the 1881 census he appears as the publican at the Jolly Colliers in Heanor!

If you have any details of his relations pre 1850's I would be most interested.
