Perrys Fish and Chip Shop

I've been asked by a work collegue to ask if anybody remembers Perrys Fish and Chip Shop. It was at the end of a terrace to the right of the Nags Head 1940's/50's.

Mr & Mrs Perry ceased 'chipping' around 1955/56 although they kept the other part of the shop open till around 1960.
A regular 'dare' in our game under the street lights at that time was to to shout through the Perrys letter box 'Jackie Perry sells fish, three ha'pence a dish, don't buy it don't buy it, it stinks when you fry it'. This had little effect as Mr Perry was very deaf, and would have been unaware of our cheekiness.
