replied on: 5/27/2005 7:40:21 PM There was Donnelly & Kent.(not sure about the spelling) A wooden structure just about opposite to the Nags Head.(now Memory Lane)I think they taught ballroom dancing.The earliest I remember it was 1937. |

replied on: 7/6/2005 12:57:53 PM Before and for a short time after founding the Dancing School, the Kent's lived on lower Derby Road in a large white house, which was attached to Morley's loading-bay wall. Didn't the Dance Hall change ownership in the early 1950s? Azzabuv. |
