Can anyone remember a dance school at Tag Hill, somewhere between the Nottingham House and Thorpes Road. It will have been there in the late forties/early fifties.

There was Donnelly & Kent.(not sure about the spelling) A wooden structure just about opposite to the Nags Head.(now Memory Lane)I think they taught ballroom dancing. The earliest I remember it was 1937.

Before and for a short time after founding the Dancing School, the Kent's lived on lower Derby Road in a large white house, which was attached to Morley's loading-bay wall.
Didn't the Dance Hall change ownership in the early 1950s?
