Does anyone know where THE BLACK BULL was?
I thought it was what is now called the Hayloft in kimberley, but am told that was the White Bull.
In directories it is listed as Black Bull Newthorpe, Greasley, Notts.
Landlords were 1876 L.Jackson, 1885 William Hind, 1891 Robert Limb,1901 Edward Pilkington

The 1871 census shows a Lewis Jackson Innkeeper entry no 156 NEWTHORPE.The Enumerator begins his walk on Dovecote Road
and judging by the continuation of the Numbered entries the inn must have been between Hilltop and Moorgreen

The 1891 shows Robert Limb Landlord living at the pub (Black Bull named on the census)
and still appears around the same area as the next named entries are for Pinfold Lane
