| Lochinvar | Kerry-Bowler Family posted on: 6/13/2005 12:38:31 PM Hi, looking for an info re the above 2 family, in particular a Joseph Bowler b.1810? his father was a Joseph Bowler, and he had a brother born about 1802 called William. He first married Hannah Boden 1836 in Wirksworth, she was born 1810 in Cromford. She had 2 sons John 1841 and William 1843 and then she died 1844. Joseph married Sarah Kerry 1810 in Smalley, in 1845. They left for NZ in 1850. Joseph died in a dray accident in 1858, and Sarah married, Joseph Masters. Masters is a famous NZer and has a town named after him Masterton. I have traced Sarah Kerry and Hannah Boden, but stuck on Joseph Bowler. Both William and Joseph stood for parliment in NZ. A witness to his first marriage was a Suzannah Bowler. |
