The Avengers - there were some great adventures there and ***E M M A .....P .....P....... PEEL*** ............must stop. I think there was also a bloke too, as her side-kick. Not certain, though.

It was shown from 1961 to 1969. (Originally).

Humphey Lestocq and Charlie Drake's children's comedy show. This was the series which launched Charlie's comedy career, after they both split as a comedy duo.

The great and sadly missed - 'Tony Hancock'. Another great comedian of the 1950s.
Can you remember the sketch in the hospital, where the nurse wanted to take a blood-Donar offering and his "pint of blood" response as he held his arm in the air? I think this is his most remembered sketch.
He committed suicide, in Australia, for some reason. Sad.

'The Good Life', with the sumptious, gorgeous, extremely pretty, Filicity Kendle. Enough of felicitations.
This comedy program actually did instil in me a hankering for home-produce gardening, which has lasted all my life. It's still repeatedly broadcast today.

'The Adventures of William Tell' - the Swiss Robin Hood. A bit tacky in parts though. The best scene where William shot the apple off his son's head with his crossbow.

The Tell Family - William, Hedda and Walter outwitting, just, at times, His Rotundnas - Gessler, the Swiss Sheriff of the Swizz Nottingham.
1958 to 1959.

With all these various adventures about, it's a wonder i had time to go to school, then work!

'Alfred Hitchcock Presents'.
The famous shadowy outline, Alfred, produced these 'sting in the tail' murder mysteries from 1957 to 1962.
