Willmott/Henry-Prince of England, 1749
posted on: 9/2/2005 12:09:37 PM

Olive Wilmot married Henry Frederick, Prince of England, in 1749.
Also-
Ann Wilmot, 1672, was the daughter of John Wilmot, Earl of Rochester, and Elizabeth Mallet, Countess of Rochester.
Has anyone made any connections with the Derbyshire Willmotts?

Hi, San. Here are a few apparently 'Aristocratic' Derbys. marriages, if that's what you're searching for?

Breadsall

Wilmot. Robert Mead, Esq., m. Mrs. Mary Woollet, of Repton, Notts. - April-May?/(as stated) 1758.

Beighton

Thank you, Azzabuv, for sharing this knowledge with me. What I should have stated was 'Are there any of you presently researching the Derbyshire branch of the Willmott tree who have managed to establish themselves as a descendant of Olive Wilmot, wife of Henry Frederick, Prince of England ,
or of Ann Wilmot, daughter of the Earl of Rochester.
