I don't have access to any census before 1841. I only have 1841 for Heanor area and it isn't indexed. All the info I have, I have posted.

Land records would be at the archives at Matlock. There are some earlier census's to 1841 from around 1800 1810 ect but very little info on them ie Joe Bloggs 6 meaning Joe lived in the village with 5 other occupants at his home again try the archives
Earlier families try Parish reg or Bishops
Transcripts.
