Anyone can add pictures. It is not that easy to crack the first time, but once you understand the principal it's not difficult. 1. The first thing to understand is that you cannot actually post pictures to ChatArea itself. 2. You need to have some webspace where you can post pictures, and which does not prevent other sites linking to them. For most people, including me, this is the webspace that comes free with my ISP subscription, and which otherwise remains unused. (Some sites only store your pictures for a limited time - once they go off that site, they will disappear from Chatarea too, and I would delete the post at the next tidy-up.) 3. You post a picture to the "third-party" webspace, following whatever instructions they give you. 4. You then add a link to that picture in the text that you type into ChatArea, using the hypertext command "image" - full instructions on exactly how to do this are in the HTML Help facility (on the left of the screen when adding/editing text). The difficult bit is items 2 & 3, which ChatArea can't help you with! |
