Peter Allen was married to Lydia probably late 1820s. They were both born about 1808.
I am trying to find Lydia's maiden name.
Thanks

I have just gone through the Philimores Marriage Index for Heanor (St. Lawrence)- there's loads of Allens but no Peter.

Sorry

Maybe they were chapel rather than church people. Do records exist for marriages other than St.Lawrence?

Thanks

I've found a marriage on IGI of a Peter Allen to a Lydia Woods at Selston Nottingham in 1840. Is Selston anywhere near Heanor?

I haven't found a link to Philimores anywhere. I bought a used CD on ebay for my Derbyshire records.
