Has anyone seen this DVD? Its three blokes walking through LM and pointing out the interesting sites and sights.

I'm thinking of doing one myself.

'Ah, now this is the spot where fred daley spewed his guts up on new years eve 1976' and perhaps illustrating the folk poets of langley mill and their interesting cave paintings on the 'iron bridge' near where Aristoc once was. Things like 'Matt f is dead fit, by Shannon K' and the immortal reply 'what'd you know you boz eyed fat slag?'.

I dont think it would sell too well but as a historical record it would be priceless.

No, I've not seen it, though keep meaning to! Even accepting what I know to be your views on Langley Mill, what is the DVD like? Is it worth buying?

Thanks Russ - I intend looking it out soon before it sells out, though I have heard "mixed reviews."

My view, though, is that every extra bit of information is worthwhile.

I understand that they are now working on a book to accompany the DVD.

I havent seen it. Id like to as despite my constant p*ss taking I do love langley mill and im very sad to see its decline from the thriving town I grew up in in the 60s and 70s and the dilapidated chav den its become.

Its all good natured because much as I love the place, monte carlo it aint and never was!

By the way if anyone's interested I do the live bands at potters on cromford road in an attempt to keep some night life going in an area where there really is nothing to do at night. Anyone fancy a good tribute band?

Got a Status Quo one, a Pink floyd one, a smiths one and lots more for your delight and delectation. I'll be booking the madonna one again too, top class.
