| houseworkfairy Quote | Reply | | Pubs - Derby Arms /Jessop Arms posted on: 8/27/2007 5:40:40 PM I have been told that my relatives Phyllis And Bill Housley used to keep the Derby Arms before they moved to the Jessop Arms in Codnor. Phyllis (born about 1907 I think) used to work in Skeltons the chemists in Eastwood and married Bill Housley late in life. They had no kids and I know very little about them. Phyllis was Phyllis Creamer before she married Bill. I think both of them died in the 60s. Anyone out there know anything about either them or the pubs concerned? |
