Anybody know of a schoolteacher by the name of Herbert Pearson?

He lived at 42 Mansfield Road from 1909 till his death in 1968. Presumably he will have been teaching up until the 1950's.

In loving memory of Anne Mabel Avis Pearson the beloved wife of Herbert Pearson who died March 28th 1960 aged 77 years “Till the day break and shadows flee away.” Also the above named Herbert Pearson who died Jany 6th 1968 aged 82 years reunited.

FUNERAL OF RETIRED SCHOOLMASTER
MR HERBERT PEARSON
The funeral of Mr Herbert Pearson of Mansfield Road Heanor, took place at Heanor church on Thursday last week. The Rev. H. B. Roberts officiated. Interment followed at Marlpool Cemetery.
Mr Pearson was a well-known retired schoolmaster, who taught for most of his life at Langley Mill Boys School except for a short period during the 1914-18 War, when he was temporary headmaster at Lea and Holloway School near Matlock. He was trained at St John’s College, York.
