(I was born in a house just off Godkin Drive, named after the farm.) Those who have read the Society's books over the years will have seen that the farm was occupied by the Brough family. BUT.... what about the Godkins? There must have been a family of this name to give rise to the name of the farm. Can anyone dig anything out?
