replied on: 6/14/2009 4:10:09 PM I'm not 100% where the church is Ice. I remember going there when I was in the cubs at Marlpool, but that was over 50 years ago. I had a look on the google maps but it doesn't show on there. I saw Mundy's Drive, is it anywhere near there? Jenks |

replied on: 10/20/2009 6:49:17 PM Whilst searching the 1871 census a couple of places stood out that I had never heard of before. "City" was mentioned at the start of this topic, but not discussed. You can quite often work out where a name comes from, but this one!!! It was around the Commonside area. "Delves House" is fairly self explanitary, but was it something special? Jenks |
