You are right the first part of the
telephone exchange and the scout hut stood side by side for a while until the second part was built.The scout hut was then moved
to the Langley end of Milnhay road and stood between the last council house and Bailey Brook, on the right hand side.Does anyone recall the first exchange no more than a glorified switchboard in someones front room on Station Road near to Nellie Outram's Shop
