replied on: 6/9/2004 7:10:59 PM You go straight on rather than turning right to the Stoneyford Boat (or Stoneyford Lodge nowadays), and its a few hundred yards further on on your right. It's not that impressive, but it's "real history." Details (and a photo) are on the website. It's really quite a pleasant stroll in the summer - there is an Amber Valley leaflet showing a walk that would bring you back via the route of the Cromford Canal into Langley Mill. |
