Mileash/St Alkmund/Darley Abbey
replied on: 12/22/2004 11:59:20 AM

I have just been supplied with 1851 census details for my Great Grandfather Henry West.(who was aged 1 at the time) The address of his parents is given as: Mileash, which is/was a village in the parish of St.Alkmund, in the liberty of Darley Abbey, within Derby.
I can find no reference for Mileash anywhere at all, does anyone know anything about it?
Cheers, Jen.
