Gascoyne Family
replied on: 1/7/2005 3:10:32 AM Thanks everybody for all your help. I think I may have located them in both the 1871 and 1891 census. 1891 reads Gascione Elizabeth Wife 57 Gascione Joseph Head 59 Gascione Salathiel Son 17 In Denby :o) Names match, there seems to be 5 years different in the age. My mum thought his name was Salathiel. 1871 reads Gaskin Aaron Son 5 Gaskin Anne Daur 13 Gaskin Betsey Wife 37 Gaskin Elizabeth Daur 11 Gaskin Osrick Son 2 The dates again seem to match up It may an error in the transcribing, but it seems to me like my ancestors had a real problem with names lol They say that the truth is stranger than fiction |
