Postman's Inn

Thanks to Jennypeg:

In the Ripley Advertiser on 8/7/1876, there was a two-line article stating that the "Postman's Inn of Codnor & Loscoe, was transferred from Thomas Shore to Thos Goodall of Long Eaton."

Has anyone heard of these premises? I wonder why it says "Codnor & Loscoe" rather than just one of them (both villages were in the same parish, which might explain it.) Is anyone able to delve into the two names mentioned - I'd be interested if they moved from/to other pubs.
