Wasn't there also the British Legion-which became a nightclub (I think) and then burned down?
Also I suppose Potters is also licensed premises-the History of that is it was the Coop Bank!
As for the Miner's Welfare-all I remember about that is in the 1950's I used to go to Ballroom Dancing classes there which were run by Joan and Lewis Wilson.
