Castle Crisps

Now I've got everyones attention, if you come down Holbrook Street winding back the calendar to the mid 50s. About halfway down on the left hand side was a chip shop built of corrugated iron. This was the home of Castle Crisps, the owners had tried flavoured crisps but the flavouring ruined the fat for chip frying. They could have been onto a winner, imagine cheese and onion flavour chips.
Almost at the bottom of Holbrook Street, again on the left was a church organ bulder and restorer. I cannot remember any more details. It may have been one of their organs that has been pictured elsewhere in the forum.

regards Phil
