Train Spotting
replied on: 4/15/2005 4:12:48 PM This is one activity I never really got into in a big way. The spot used to be the footbridge near Lacey Fields Farm. It was turn up some time in the morning then go home when the Thames Clyde Express had gone through, on the up run. It was hauled by a Jubilee class loco usually and flew through Langley Mill. Pistons etc going ten to the dozen, the odd wisp of steam or smoke and that oily smell was all that remained. regards Phil |
