The Anchor Inn was on the junction of Bailey
Grove and the lower canal of the two i recall it still being open as a child as we used to walk that way to Eastwood from Milnhay Road.It is now a private House owned by The proprietor of "Anchor Supplies" of Ripley and Nottingham.
