Langley Mill Railway Crossings
replied on: 6/12/2005 7:55:01 PM

On Cromford Road there used to be 2 railway crossings-one by the Flour Mill and one near the Coal Wharf-I remember on my way to Aldercar Infants school very often we had to wait for the train going by-someone used to close the crossing gate (only a gate on one side of the track)-does anyone know when theses crossings ceased to be-or any more info ?
