The Radio (Wireless) : 'Workers Playtime'

I wish i had a £1 for everytime i heard this favourite Wartime radio broadcast. It was played daily and came from a new location/factory each day. It consisted of popular music with the details of the War's current action progress being broadcast constantly. It was apparently a great 'pick-me-up' and moral booster for the public and the fighting forces too.
