Albert Hawkins - The sweet maker
replied on: 7/4/2005 3:07:37 PM

Hi everyone, does anyone out there remember a Albert Hawkins? He used to sell his own brand of sweets on Heanor market (and on Ripley market) back in the 60's. Apparently he was a well known figure back then. One of his most remembered sweets he made was a rock called Tommy Dodd, it had the image of a little man right through the middle. I was just wondering if anyone has any memories of him or his sweets? Alice.
