At the same time, this same rhythm was being played every weekend at the large 'Shoulder of Mutton' pub, South Normanton. This too, was packed to overflowing, everyone waiting for the beginning of the solo played - 'Skin-Deep'. As quickly as it arrived on the music scene, so 'Skin-Deep' faded into relative obscurity. A great shame. To watch it being played, was simply a wonder to behold. It was only in the realms of the most professional drummer, to carry this complicated rhythm through in all its awesome, but highly enjoyable entertainment/viewing. Does anyone remember the name of the regular 'Rays Arms' drummer of that period. He was one of the Kings of 'Skin-Deep' and it was a perfect pleasure to watch such an enthusiastic, extremely professional artist at work. Highly recommended. Azzabuv.:) [/quote]
